Villagers from
Anna Hazare’s village in Ralegan Siddhi protested in a unique manner when they took out a ‘bucket morcha’ on Thursday, to protest against Tihar Jail authorities for allegedly refusing to provide basic bathing facilities to their mentor.
The villagers, both young and old, refused to take a bath themselves and walked into the main village square in hundreds with empty mugs and buckets.
According to Raut, at least 2,000 youth from neighbouring villages visited the village onmotorcycles and jeeps to extend their support to Hazare’s movement.
